At Hotel Parador el Faro, we are people taking care of people. It is our responsibility to keep a safe and clean environment for our guests and employees. 

Employee & Guest Health/ Hand Washing Protocols

Following all the CDC Guidelines, we encourage all our employees and guests to wash their hands with water and soap frequently. While washing our hands with soap and water is the preferred method, we also included hand sanitizer stations around our hotel property to ensure that your hands are clean and you feel safe at high contact areas like the lobby reception area, meeting spaces, pool and other public areas. 

Check-in/ Check-out Protocol

Guests should expect to wear their masks at all times, especially when in communication with our staff. When you arrive for check-in, please be advised that a 6 feet of distance will be required from the staff desk. 

When entering the hotel, our staff will kindly ask to take your temperature with a no-contact infrared thermometer upon arrival. If your temperature is higher than 100.4 F, we will kindly ask you to return to your home. All guest luggage will be disinfected with an aerosol disinfectant, as a cautionary measure to prevent the spread of germs.  

If you are feeling unwell, believe you may have fever or are experiencing shortness of breath, please contact our staff for assistance. 

About our Hotel Cleaning Protocols

The IHP Hospitality team is committed to providing a healthy environment where all our guests and employees feel safe. It is therefore that we have implemented three step procedures: clean, disinfect and sanitize all around. 

Public areas

Our three step procedure is frequent and pays close attention to high contact surfaces like: front desk counters, elevators, door handles, room keys and locks, stair handrails, pool seating and dining areas. 

Guest Rooms

Our housekeeping staff is cleaning-disinfecting-and sanitizing every aspect of your room. We want you to feel safe again in our guest rooms. When checking into your room, you will see a card signed by the staff member in charge of cleaning the space with a timestamp of the last time the room was cleaned. 

Social distancing

Staying apart, keeps us together. It is therefore important to keep at least 6 feet away from each other while on the premises. Our team has carried-out social distancing practices with placing motivational and funny decals on the floor to remind you to keep distance.
